Nixon Medical Named a 2020 Best Place to Work in Connecticut

East Hartford, Connecticut, May 28, 2020 – Nixon Medical, the leading service provider of medical apparel and linens serving outpatient healthcare centers nationwide, was recently named as one of the Best Places to Work in Connecticut. This fifteenth annual program was created by the Hartford Business Journal and Best Companies Group.

The Best Places to Work survey and awards program identifies, recognizes, and honors the best employers in Connecticut. The 2020 list includes 41 companies split into two categories: 27 small and medium-sized companies (15-199 US employees) and 14 large-sized companies (200 or more US employees). Nixon Medical has been named one of this year’s Best Places to Work in Connecticut in the large category for its employee benefits, employee recognition and appreciation, relaxing and family-friendly atmosphere, and our dedication to community service with the Boys & Girls Club of Hartford.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Connecticut. The first part consisted of an evaluation of each company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and final rankings.
